Technical supplier of VAR system in Armenia to be Hawk eye company
15:22 20 January, 2022After several months of negotiations, the Football Federation of Armenia has decided on a technical supplier for the introduction of the VAR system in Armenia. The English company Hawk eye was chosen.
The process of introducing the VAR system will be supervised by FIFA specialists, and the training will be conducted by Hawk Eye specialists from Russia, as well as VAR instructors from other countries, the FFA press service reported.
The FFA has chosen the centralized version of the VAR application. There will be a center from where all the matches will be served.
The VAR can only intervene in the match if there is a clear or obvious error or an incident by the referee. The Football Federation of Armenia is going to introduce the VAR system in Armenian starting from the 2022/2023 season.
