Marcelo passes Sergio Ramos in number of titles won at Real

Real Madrid's Brazilian defender Marcelo has won his 23rd title at the club, as the latter beat Athletic Bilbao 2-0 in Sunday’s final of the Supercopa de Espana (Spanish Super Cup).

Marcelo has now equaled Real Madrid’s record holder Paco Gento, who also had won 23 titles with this club.

In addition, Marcelo surpassed his former Real teammate, Spanish defender Sergio Ramos—who had transferred from Real Madrid to PSG—who has won 22 titles with Real.

Marcelo is playing at Real Madrid since 2007.
