Chicago police investigate incident involving Hristo Stoichkov

Former Barcelona player, Bulgarian football legend Hristo Stoichkov was placed under investigation by Chicago police after he allegedly assaulted a journalist of Bulgaria Now newspaper, Reuters reported.

The reports said Stoichkov allegedly struck the journalist in the head when he was attempting to interview the player. The incident took place during the Chicago Fire’s 15th anniversary party at the Chicago History Museum, Chicago Sun-Times reports.
