ATP Tour: Russia's Karen Khachanov reaches semifinals

Russia's Karen Khachanov has reached the semifinals of the ATP 250 series tournament in Adelaide, Australia.

The Armenian tennis player competed with the representative of Belarus Yegor Gerasimov and gained an advantage in two sets: 7-5, 6-3. The match lasted 1 hour and 55 minutes.

For a ticket to the final, Karen Khachanov will face Croatian Marin Cilic on January 8, who defeated Brazilian Thiago Monteiro in the quarterfinals.
