North Korea not to participate in Beijing Olympics due to hostile forces and pandemic

North Korea's leadership said they would not participate in Beijing Winter Olympics.

They noted that the United States is becoming more active in its opposition to the successful opening of the Beijing Olympics. Thus the country can not participate in the Games because of hostile forces and pandemics.

The Beijing Olympic Games will be held from February 4 to 20.

The North Korean delegation did not participate in the 2021 Tokyo Summer Olympic Games held either.
