Adelaide International 1: Karen Khachanov reaches quarterfinals

Karen Khachanov (Russia) has reached the quarterfinals of the 2022 Adelaide International 1 tennis tournament in Australia.

The Muscovite Armenian athlete beat Steve Johnson (USA) in three sets in the Round of 16. The match lasted 2 hours.

The Olympic silver medalist will next face Egor Gerasimov (Belarus) for a spot at the semifinals.

The winner of the 2022 Adelaide International 1 will be determined on Sunday.
