Scotland footballer joins Everton

Scotland defender Nathan Patterson, 20, has moved from Glasgow Rangers to Everton. His contract is for 5.5 years.

Patterson is Everton's second rookie in the winter transfer window after Dynamo left-back Vitaly Mykolenko.

Everton, with 19 points, are in 15th place after Premier League 18 leg.
