Copa del Rey: Espanyol win on penalties

Spanish La Liga club Espanyol were hosted by Ponferradina, representing Segunda Division, in the Round of 32 in Copa del Rey (Spanish Cup).

The regular and extra time of this clash ended in a 1-1 draw, but Espanyol won 3-1 on penalties and reached the Round of 16 of this Spanish national football tournament.
