Atletico Madrid defender to be back at Premier League

Spanish champions Atletico Madrid defender Kieran Trippier will return to the Premier League this month.

The 31-year-old English football player will continue his career in Newcastle, Sky Sports reports. The Madrid club will receive about 15 million euros from the transfer.

Kieran Trippier was transferred from Tottenham Hotspur to Madrid in 2019.

In the current season, he has participated in 18 matches in all competitions with the team led by Argentine Diego Simeone.
