Pele hospitalized

Legendary footballer Pele was admitted to a hospital on Dec. 8, Reuters reports.

The 81-year-old Brazilian footballer is receiving treatment against a colon tumor. He is in stable condition, will be discharged soon and will continue treatment at home.

Pele underwent a surgery for removal of his colon on Sept. 6, but two weeks later, he was taken to the intensive care unit and discharged on Oct. 1.
