AusOpen: Djokovic is listed, Federer and Williams to not participate

World’s first racket, Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic is listed for the Australia Open (Grand Slam). Djokovic’s decision on coronavirus vaccination remains unknown. If he isn’t vaccinated, he will need to be quarantined after arriving in Australia.

Fourth racket, Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, who recently underwent a wrist injury, is also listed.

Among the tennis players with ratings who won’t play at AusOpen are Roger Federer (16, recovering from a knee injury), Guido Pella (74), Stan Wawrinka (82, recovering from ankle injury) and Jeremy Chardy (107, effects of vaccination).

Twenty-three-time winner of the Grand Slam, American Serena Williams won’t participate in the women’s tournament.
