Josep Guardiola: Steven Gerrard is already a good manager
14:13 2 December, 2021Manchester City boss Josep Guardiola commented on the 2-1 victory over Aston Villa in the 14th round of the Premier League.
The Barcelona legend was asked to share his thoughts on Gerrard and what he makes about him at Villa.
“Listen, if he is a manager in the Premier League, then he is already a good manager,” said Guardiola.
"We make an incredible game because I know how good they are. Steven Gerrard is already a great manager. They know exactly what they want to do with a lot of quality. We played 90 minutes exceptional. With the quality Villa to have to concede not many chances,” Pep Guardiola said BBC Sport.
Manchester City are in second place with 32 points, Aston Villa in 13th place with 16 points.
