Djokovic wins year-end world No. 1-ranking cup for 7th time

Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic received the year-end world No. 1-ranking cup.

Thanks to his defeat of Casper Ruud (Norway) in the first round of the ATP Finals, Djokovic will finish the year in first place in the world rankings for the seventh year.

As a result, he has surpassed American Pete Sampras’ respective record of six years (1993-1998).

Djokovic had finished the season in first place in 2011-2012, 2014-2015, 2018, and 2020, too.
