Armenia national boxing team are welcomed back at Yerevan airport

The Armenian national boxing team returned home from the Serbian capital Belgrade where they competed in the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships.

The team members were greeted at Zvartnots International Airport of Yerevan by fans and officials.

Davit Chaloyan (+92 kg) won a silver medal while Hovhannes Bachkov (63.5 kg)—a bronze medal in the aforesaid competition.

This is Bachkov's third bronze at the World Boxing Championships.

Team Armenia competed in this tournament with 11 participants.
