Thanks to the goal he scored against Atalanta, Manchester United’s 36-year-old Portuguese star forward Cristiano Ronaldo again surpassed PSG’s Argentine star striker Lionel Messi in the UEFA Champions League, setting a record, too.

In this European football competition, Ronaldo has now netted goals against 38 different clubs. On Tuesday, Messi had scored against RB Leipzig—the 37th club—equaling Ronaldo.

Ronaldo has increased his goal tally in the Champions League to 137, while Messi is second, with 123 goals.
