Zidane announces his choice in 2021 Ballon d’Or race
16:45 17 October, 2021Former Real Madrid manager and French football legend Zinedine Zidane's choice in the race for the 2021 Ballon d’Or is Real and France forward Karim Benzema.
"Benzema is a great player who deserves the Ballon d’Or. I had the great honor of coaching him. Benzema can do absolutely everything on the pitch. He is now at a super high level. I hope that he will win the award. I would give the Ballon d’Or to Benzema," Zidane said, Footmercato reported.
France Football published the list of candidates for this year’s Ballon d'Or on October 8.
And the 2021 Ballon d'Or award ceremony will take place on November 29.
