By the rules of financial fair play, Newcastle will have the right for making transfers worth €225 million during the January winter transfer window, but the club's new owner, the Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, will spend only €59 million, The Telegraph reported.

This English football club does not have a general director, a sports director, and a head of the personnel department yet. Therefore, the new owners of the club will wait until next summer to make large financial investments.
