Zelarayan: I will seek to be on good terms with Mkhitaryan
22:02 7 October, 2021Newcomer to the Armenia national football team, MLS champion and midfielder for Columbus Crew Lucas Zelarayan answered reporters’ questions during a pre-match press conference.
“I have great contacts with my teammates. Almost all of them know English, and there is no language barrier. I will seek to be on good terms with senior player Mkhitaryan and work with him.
I would like to make my contribution to the future successes of the team and be dedicated to the job,” Lucas Zelarayan said.
On October 8, the Armenia national team will play against the Iceland national team during the match in the seventh round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification - UEFA Group J.
The match is set to kick off at 10:45 Armenia time.
