Italy football club manager hits referee

An unpleasant incident took place during the seventh division Italian football league game between Oleggio Castello and Carpignano Salentino.

The manager of the guests, Giovanni Alozi, hit the head referee of the match, Andrea Feliz, in the face.

Towards the end of the second half, Alozi was red card by the referee. But instead of going to the dressing room, he entered the pitch, complained to the referee, and then hit him, Football Italia reported.

After that, the referee announced the end of the match, which the hosts were winning 2-0.

Subsequently, the aforesaid manager apologized for his action and resigned. But he faces severe sanctions.
