World women's team chess championship: Armenia beat France, play draw with Azerbaijan

The FIDE World Women's Team Championship 2021 has kicked off Monday in Sitges, Spain.

Armenia defeated France, and played a draw with Azerbaijan on the first day of competitions in Group A.

Group A includes Russia, India, and Spain too.

The national chess teams that take the first four places in their groups will advance the quarterfinals.
