Brazil football legend Romario undergoes surgery

Legendary Brazilian footballer, World Cup champion, and now a federal senator from the Brazilian Socialist Party, Romario, underwent urgent surgery in Rio de Janeiro, Goal.com reported.

The gallbladder of 55-year-old football legend was removed.

"Romario is under medical supervision, and he will be discharged from hospital in the next few days," the Brazilian Socialist Party said in a statement.
