US Open: Djokovic, Medvedev to clash in Men’s final

World No. 1-ranked tennis player Novak Djokovic has reached the Men’s final of the US Open in New York.

In the semifinals, the 34-year-old Serbian tennis star beat Tokyo Olympic champion, 24-year-old Alexander Zverev (Germany) in five sets—and in a battle that lasted 3 hours and 35 minutes.

Djokovic will face 25-year-old Daniil Medvedev (Russia) in the final. In his semifinal, the World No. 2 defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime (Canada) in three sets—and in 2 hours and 3 minutes. Medvedev will play for the first time in a Grand Slam final, which will take place on Sunday.

The total prize fund of the US Open is $57.5 million.
