2022 World Cup qualifiers: Argentina, Brazil win

Argentina hosted Bolivia and won 3-0 in the tenth round of the South American qualifiers for the 2022 football World Cup in Qatar.

PSG’s Argentine star newcomer Lionel Messi, 34, scored a hat-trick. Messi has now netted a total of 79 goals for Argentina, and holds the respective record.

Argentina are second in the current standings of the South American qualifiers, as they have amassed 18 points in eight games. The current leaders are Brazil, which beat Peru 2-0 at home. Brazil have 24 points after eight games.
