Serie A: Mkhitaryan assist helps Roma win convincingly
00:38 30 August, 2021Roma defeated Salernitana 4-0 in their away match in the second round of the new season in the Italian Serie A.
Armenian national team captain and Roma midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan made an assist.
The Armenian international, however, received a yellow card in the 67th minute and was subbed off in the 70th minute.
In the current Serie A season, Mkhitaryan has scored one goal and made one assist. In the previous round, he had scored against Fiorentina.
The second round was victorious also for Milan and Napoli.
Roma, Napoli, and Milan now have 6 points each, and they are among the top five in the current Serie A standings.
