Armenian international footballer announced Russia’s top player for August

Russian Premier League, together with the Championat.com sports website, has set an award for the league’s top player for each month.  After each round, five specialists and five sports journalists take part in a voting and present their top three candidates. And a prize is awarded to each month’s winner.   As a result of voting, Armenian national football team and Russia’s FC Krasnodar forward Yura Movsisyan was recognized as the player of the month for August. As such, Movsisyan will receive the respective prize just before kick-off of FC Krasnodar’s eleventh-round match against FC Zenit Saint Petersburg.

     To note, Cameroonian national squad and Russia’s FC Anzhi Makhachkala striker Samuel Eto’o is recognized the Russian Premier League’s top player for September.
