Armenia scores 2 gold, 3 silver and 5 bronze medals

Armenia scored 2 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 5 bronze medals at the Junior European Boxing Championships held in Bosna & Herzegovina.

Out of the 17 Armenian athletes who participated in the championship under the leadership of coaches Artur Melkumyan, Armen Baghdasaryan and Hovhannes Sharbatyan, 10 athletes scored medals.

During the final, Spartak Nahapetyan (50 kg) and member of Sevan Sports Union Andranik Martirosyan (57 kg) from Shirak Province scored gold medals. Moreover, Spartak Nahapetyan outscored his opponent with a knockout, as reported the press service of the Armenian Boxing Federation.

Vazgen Karhanyan (48 kg), Argishti Hakobyan (63 kg) and Davit Nikoghosyan (75 kg) scored a silver medal, and Vahagn Galstyan (42 kg), Lyova Kirakosyan (70 kg), Karen Petrosyan (80 kg), Victoria Zakaryan (38 kg) and Heghine Petrosyan (42 kg) scored bronze medals.
