Paris to spend EUR 7,100,000,000 for 2024 Summer Olympic Games
22:45 9 August, 2021Paris will spend up to EUR 7,100,000,000 to host the 2024 Summer Olympic Games, BFM Business reports. The city will build new sport complexes and will repair the old ones and the city’s infrastructure.
In 2016, France presented a EUR 6,500,000,000 plan to host the Olympic Games, but the expenditures grew in the course of five years. The threshold might also be exceeded.
The International Olympic Committee will grant EUR 1,200,000,000 for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games, and a part of the funding will be provided through private investments.
Paris will host the Games from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
