Tokyo 2020: Armenia improves its position in the medal standings (PHOTOS)

Boxer Hovhannes Bachkov (63 kg) brought Armenia the fourth medal at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

Armenia climbed to 66th place in the medal standings after winning the bronze medal of the 2018 European champion, the 2019 European Games winner, and the European championship bronze medalist (2018, 2019).

Earlier, representatives of Armenia, Greco-Roman wrestler Artur Aleksanyan (97 kg) and weightlifter Simon Martirosyan (109 kg) won silver medals, and Artur Davtyan became a bronze medalist in the vault.
