The men’s and women’s finals of BMX Racing were held today at the 32nd Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo.
In the men’s final, Dutch racer Niek Kimmann became the Olympic champion after racing for 39.053 seconds, followed by British Kye Whyte (39.167 seconds) and Colombian Carlos Ramirez (40.572 seconds), who scored the bronze medal.

In the women’s final, the UK’s Bethany Shriever was the top racer (44.358 seconds), followed by Colombian Mariana Pajon (44.448 seconds) and Dutch Merel Smulders (44.721 seconds).
