Tokyo 2020: Karen Khachanov makes it to semi-final

During the men’s tennis tournament at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, Russia’s Armenian tennis player Karen Khachanov made it to the semi-final after outscoring France’s Ugo Humbert in three sets — 7-6 (7-4), 4-6, 6-3. The tennis match lasted 2 hours and 34 minutes.

To score a pass to the final, Khachanov will compete with the winner of Spain’s Pablo Careno-Busta and Russia’s Daniil Medvedev.

In the first round of the Olympic tournament, Khachanov defeated Japan’s Yosihito Nisioku (3-6, 6-1, 6-2), in the second round, he defeated Australia’s James Duckworth (7-6, 6-1), and in the third round, he defeated Argentina’s Diego Schwartzman (6-1, 2-6, 6-1).
