David Alaba infected with COVID-19
16:33 28 July, 2021Real Madrid’s newcomer David Alaba has tested positive for COVID-19, the football club’s press service reports.
The center-back for the Austria national team recently joined the training of Real Madrid and has self-isolated.
The 29-year-old footballer has signed a five-year contract with Real Madrid.
Since 2009, Alaba had been playing for Bayern Munich, but didn’t extend his deal with the latter and received the status of free agent. He is a ten-time champion, six-time cup winner and super cup winner of Germany, two-time cup winner of the Champions League, two-time cup winner of Europe and two-time club champion of the world.
