Tokyo 2020: Paula Badosa unable to end tennis match due to heat stroke

Spanish tennis player Paula Badosa wasn’t able to end her tennis match during the quarter-final of the tennis tournament at the 32nd Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo due to a heat stroke.

In the first set, the Spanish athlete was defeated by Czech tennis player Marketa Vondrousova 3-6, after which she wasn’t able to continue. During the semi-final, Vondrousova’s opponent will be Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina.

Over the past few days, several people have been admitted to hospitals on suspicion of heat stroke in Japan, and there are also deaths.
