Euro 2020: Ronaldo is named top scorer

Portugal captain and forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored 5 goals and made one assist in four appearances (360 minutes), has been named the top scorer of Euro 2020 that has ended.

The 36-year-old star footballer scored three of his five goals from the penalty spot.

Czech forward Patrik Schick, who played in five matches (404 minutes), also had scored 5 goals.

But according to the rules of this tournament, its Golden Boot is awarded to the player who has made more assists. Schick, however, has not made any assists in this tournament.

Ronaldo, who participated in the European Football Championship for the fifth time, is the record holder with 14 goals.
