Euro 2020: Italy are in semifinals

Italy have reached the semifinals of the 16th European Football Championship (Euro 2020), which was postponed for a year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In their quarterfinal match in Munich, Germany, Italy beat World Cup bronze medalists Belgium 2-1.

In the semifinals, Italy will face—on July 6 in London—Spain, which eliminated Switzerland in their quarterfinal game earlier in the day.
