Wimbledon: Federer advances to 3rd round

Roger Federer, the winner of 20 Grand Slam tournaments, has advanced to the third round of Wimbledon.

In the second round, the Swiss tennis star defeated Richard Gasquet (France) in three sets. The match lasted 1 hour and 52 minutes.

Federer will now face Cameron Norrie (UK) to book his spot in the Round of 16 of Wimbledon.

Federer has won this tournament eight times.

World No. 1 Novak Djokovic (Serbia) is the defending champion.

The winner of Men’s singles at Wimbledon will receive £1.7 million.
