VAR system to be introduced at Armenia Premier League
14:15 28 June, 2021The Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) has started working to implement the video assistant referee (VAR) system in the Premier League. FFA President Armen Melikbekyan stated this during the regular meeting of the federation.
"We have started the implementation of the VAR system; it will take 8 to 10 months. We hope that already in 2022 we will be able to test the VAR system during the games of Armenia’s league. It is a very complicated process which is connected not only with the acquisition of technical means, but also with the training and education of referees. I believe it will help us to hold the next leagues better," Melikbekyan said.
