Francesco Totti says AS Roma have hired the 'best coach in the world'
20:48 24 June, 2021Former member of AS Roma, legendary Italian midfielder Francesco Totti says Portuguese Jose Mourinho, who has been appointed manager of AS Roma, is the 'best coach in the world'.
Totti said AS Roma have signed a contract with the best coach in the world and added that he would have loved to be coached by him in his younger years, Corriere dello Sport cited.
Mourinho signed a four-year contract with AS Roma in May and will start managing the team on July 1. During the Italian football championship, AS Roma was in 6th place and scored a pass to the group stage of Europa League under Paulo Fonseca’s leadership.
Francesco Totti, 44, ended his career in 2017.
