Euro 2020: Belgium beat Finland, Russia lose big to Denmark

The national teams that are in Group B played their matches in the last round of the group stage at Euro 2020.

Belgium, which have already booked their spot at the Round of 16 in the previous round, faced Finland in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and the current World Cup bronze medalists achieved their third win by a score of 2-0.

Belgium took the first place, with 9 points, in this group, Finland garnered 3 points, placed third, and still may advance to the playoffs.

In the other match of the group, Russia were hosted by Denmark in Copenhagen but lost 1-4, ending their campaign in this tournament. Denmark are second, with 3 points, and have qualified for the round of 16.

In the first two rounds of Group B, Belgium beat Russia (3-0) and Denmark (2-1), and Finland defeated Denmark 1-0, but lost to Russia by the same score.

The teams that have placed first and second, as well as four third-place squads with the best result will qualify for the Euro 2020 playoffs from the six groups.
