2021 European U-22 Boxing Championships: Armenia scores second medal

The Armenia national boxing team scored the second medal at the 2021 European Under 22 Boxing Championships taking place in Italy.

Hambardzum Hakobyan (81 kg category) defeated Germany’s Bennosa Enisch 4-1 during the quarter-final and scored at least the bronze medal.

Earlier, Artur Bazeyan (56 kg category) defeated Bosnia & Herzegovina’s Alen Rahimic during the quarter-final and made it to the final, also scoring at least the bronze medal.
