Barcelona to take another loan of EUR 525 million from Goldman Sachs

Barcelona intend to take a EUR 525 million loan from the American Goldman Sachs bank for 15 years, the club's website reported.

Barcelona vice-president Eduard Romeu said the club's total debt and loan liabilities will reach EUR 1.044 million, noting that the reason for such a heavy credit burden is not only the COVID-19 as the difficult financial situation was similar before the pandemic began.

In May of this year, Barcelona had already taken a loan of EUR 500 million from Goldman Sachs, refinancing its previous obligations.
