Verratti recovers after knee injury, to play with Italy national team
13:15 20 June, 2021Central midfielder for the Italy national team and PSG Marco Verratti has recovered after his knee injury and is ready to play in Group A during the match against Wales in the third round of the group stage of Euro 2020.
UEFA’s press service cited Mancini, stating that Marco is ready after all the training sessions and needs to play.
Verratti missed the first two matches of Euro 2020. Italy defeated Turkey 3-0 and Switzerland 3-0, securing its spot in the 1/8 final.
The Italy-Wales match in the third round will take place on June 20 and will kick off at 8 p.m. Armenia time. Wales are in second place with 4 points.
