Ronaldo is only participant of 5 European football championships
20:09 15 June, 2021Forward for the Portugal national team Cristiano Ronaldo is participating in the final tournament of the European football championship (2004, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2020) and is the only footballer in history with that indicator, Opta reports.
The Portugal national team’s senior player is playing during the match in the first round of the group stage of Euro 2020 in Budapest, and the Hungary national team is the opponent.
Ronaldo also surpassed German footballer Bastian Schweinsteiger’s record (38 matches), playing the 39th match during the finals of the European and world championships.
