Superbet Chess Classic: Levon Aronian ties match with Teimour Radjabov
17:33 14 June, 2021In the final round of Superbet Chess Classic of the Grand Chess Tour, which is drawing to an end in Bucharest, Levon Aronian competed with his Azerbaijani opponent Teimour Radjabov with white figures and tied the match at the 14th step.
Aronian scored 5 out of the possible 9 points and is in second place. Shakhriyar Mamedyarov scored 6 points and won.
During this tournament, Aronian outscored Alexander Grishchuk and Bogdan-Daniel Deac, tied the matches with Constantin Lupulescu, Wesley So, Fabiano Caruana, Anish Gri and Maxime Vachier-Lagrave and was defeated by Mamedyarov.
