09:56   14 June, 2021

Three more games in the first round of the group stage will be played Monday at the 16th European Football Championship (Euro 2020), which was postponed for a year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The match day will start in Glasgow, Scotland, where Scotland and the Czech Republic will clash in the second game of Group D.

Then the national teams in Group E will lock horns. Poland and Slovakia will meet in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and Spain will host Sweden in Seville.

The first- and second-place squads from the six groups, as well as the four third-place teams with the best result will advance to the Euro 2020 playoffs.

Due to the coronavirus restrictions, however, a limited number of fans will attend the Euro 2020 games.

The European Football Championship will be held for the first time in 11 cities of 11 countries.

Also for the first time in history, 24 squads will compete for the title of the top national football team in Europe.
