Euro 2020: Netherlands start campaign with win

The Netherlands started their campaign in the 16th European Football Championship (Euro 2020)—which was postponed for a year due to the coronavirus pandemic—with a win.

In the first round of the group stage, the Dutch hosted Ukraine in Amsterdam and won 3-2.

Austria also have 3 points in Group C, having defeated North Macedonia 3-1 in Bucharest.

In the second round, the Netherlands will host Austria on Thursday in Amsterdam, and Ukraine will face North Macedonia in Bucharest on the same day.
