Lille win Ligue 1

Lille have become French Ligue 1 champions for the fourth time in club history.

In the last—38th—round, they defeated Angers 2-1 in their away match, and amassed 83 points.

PSG, which beat Brest 2-0 in the last round, could not defend their Ligue 1 title, and had to settle for second place, with 82 points.

Monaco finished third, with 78 points, and booked their spot for the UEFA Champions League qualifiers.
