Lyon: Karen Khachanov makes it to quarter-final

Russia-based Armenian tennis player Karen Khachanov made it to the quarter-final of the ATP-250 series in Lyon after competing with Polish Kamil Majchrzak and winning 7-6 (7-4), 6-3 in the second round. The tournament lasted 1 hour and 27 minutes.

To score a pass to the semi-final, Khachanov will compete with the winner of the match between Argentine Diego Schwartzman and French Richard Gasquet.

The prize fund for the tournament is EUR 419,000.
