Bayern Munich say good-bye to 3 footballers

Bayern Munich have said good-bye to Austrian center-back David Alaba, German midfielder Jerome Boateng and Spanish midfielder Javi Martinez. The contracts of all three footballers have terminated, and the parties have decided to not extend the contracts, the football club’s press service reports.

Alaba, 28, has been playing for the German football club since 2010. He won twice in the Champions League, became Germany’s champion 10 times and scored the country’s cup 6 times with the team.

Boateng, 32, has been playing for Bayern Munich since 2011 and has won twice in the Champions League. He is also a nine-time champion and five-time cup winner of Germany.

Javi Martinez, 32, joined Bayern Munich in 2012, became a two-time winner of the Champions League, as well as nine-time champion and five-time cup winner of Germany.
