Eduard Spertsyan invited to play for Armenia national team

Eduard Spertsyan, 20-year-old midfielder for FC Krasnodar-2, which are playing during the football championship of Division 1 in Russia, has been invited to play for the Armenia national team during the upcoming friendly matches, Krasnodar-2’s press service reports.

From May 28 to June 5, the Armenia national team will hold a training session during which it will play friendly matches with the world’s current vice-champion Croatia (June 1) and Sweden (June 5).

During the championship of Division 1 that ended in Russia, Spertsyan played 22 matches, scored 16 goals and made 4 passes for goals. He began to play with the Armenia national team during the game with the Romania national team in the third round of the qualifying tournament of the world championship (3-2) where he was sent as a replacement, scored a goal and made an 11-meter kick.
