Serie A: Roma lose to Inter, Mkhitaryan scores their only goal

Roma were hosted by the new titleholders Inter Milan and lost 1-3 in the 36th round of the Italian Serie A. Roma's goal was scored in the 31st minute by Armenian national team midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Roma are seventh, with 58 points, and do not have any chance to catch Lazio, which are sixth in the current Serie A standings. Lazio beat Parma 1-0 and now have 67 points. Inter are first, with 88 points.

Atalanta beat Benevento 2-0 and are second, with 75 points. Milan, who are third with the same points, defeated Torino 7-0.

Juventus beat Sassuolo 3-1 and are fifth, with 72 points, and one point behind fourth-place Napoli.
